We welcome families who are interested in learning more about Estrellitas Montessori School and our educational approach. Our admissions process is clear, accessible, and designed to help you understand each step from your first tour to enrollment.

Schedule a Tour
Start your admissions journey with a virtual visit to our school. During your virtual tour, you’ll see our classrooms, observe morning activities, and have the opportunity to ask questions about our programs and the Montessori approach.
Virtual tours are held once a month, on the second Wednesday at 9:30 AM. from October through May of each school year.

Submit Your Application
Complete our online application and submit the $100 non-refundable fee. Families applying for DC’s Free Pre-K (PKEEP) should use the corresponding application form.
Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. Our waitlist is managed by age and order of application, with priority given to siblings of enrolled children.

Enrollment Process
During enrollment season (late March and early April), families are contacted based on waitlist position. To accept a spot, a $600 non-refundable fee is required. You will then meet with the director and classroom teacher. Once confirmed, you will receive an enrollment packet with all required forms.
Tour Our School
We ask you to begin your admissions process by scheduling a tour with us. Please use the registration links below to sign up.
During our virtual tour, you will see our building, classrooms, and children learning during morning lesson time. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our programs and the Montessori learning method.

Free DC Pre-K Program (PKEEP)
Through the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Estrellitas Montessori School offers FREE Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 spots to eligible families at our 5331 Colorado Avenue NW location.
Admissions & Acceptance
Spaces for Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 are limited each school year. If a spot becomes available, we will contact the next family on the waitlist. Applications submitted after the deadline are added to the end of the waitlist in the order received.
