You’ll receive an email confirmation. Our waitlist is managed by age, first-come, first-served, with priority for siblings of enrolled children.

Enrollment Process & Requirements
During enrollment season (late March/early April), families are contacted based on waitlist position. To accept a spot, a $600 non-refundable fee is required. You’ll then meet with the director and teacher. Once confirmed, you’ll receive an enrollment packet with required forms.

During our virtual tour, you will have the opportunity to see our building, classrooms, and children learning during morning lesson time. You will also be able to ask questions you may have about our programs and the Montessori learning method.”
Virtual tours are available once a month every second Wednesday of the month at 9,30 AM.
Free DC Pre-K Program
As part of the District’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education’s (OSSE) Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Funding Program (PKEEP), Estrellitas Montessori School is now offering FREE Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 spots to eligible children at our 5331 Colorado Avenue NW location.
Admissions & Acceptance Process
Our PreK 3 and PreK 4 slots are limited each school year. We will maintain a waitlist and will notify the first family on the waitlist if a spot opens up. For a detailed overview of our school’s application, acceptance, and enrollment process, please see our Enrollment Timeline & Steps.
If you submit an application after the deadline, your child will be added to the end of the waitlist in the order in which applications were received.
